Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Telecalling & Customer Engagement Executive. The role involves making outbound and receiving inbound calls to prospective learners and families, explaining SkillsNCR’s approach, and understanding their needs and goals. The executive will gather key information about learners’ challenges, document conversations accurately, and schedule diagnostic sessions or follow-ups. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining call logs and CRM records, providing clear and honest information about programmes, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing engagement. The role also involves nurturing long-term relationships with learners and parents through regular check-ins, feedback collection, and responsive support.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken English and Hindi, active listening, and the ability to build trust over phone calls.
Customer engagement and service skills, such as handling queries, managing objections, and maintaining a professional and empathetic tone with diverse learners and families.
Telecalling and outreach capabilities, including comfort with high call volumes, disciplined follow-up, and structured conversation handling.
Basic CRM and documentation skills, with the ability to record accurate call notes, track interactions, and manage simple reporting or dashboards.
Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize calls, follow-ups, and coordination with internal teams efficiently.
Prior experience in education, counseling, customer support, or inside sales is an advantage but not mandatory.
Comfort working in a detail-oriented, accountability-focused environment that emphasizes honesty over hard selling.
Minimum educational qualification: bachelor’s degree or equivalent; motivated diploma holders with strong communication skills may also be considered.
