Role Description The Video Editor role at Grobuzz is a full-time remote position focused on creating engaging video content for brands, creators, and learning initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw footage into polished videos, applying color grading and sound enhancements, integrating motion graphics and basic graphic elements, and adapting content for multiple platforms such as social media, websites, and learning portals. The Video Editor will collaborate with content strategists, designers, and marketing teams to interpret briefs, refine visual storytelling, and ensure brand consistency across all video assets. The role also involves organizing media files, maintaining project timelines, and contributing creative ideas to support campaigns and educational content.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for short-form and long-form content.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and high-quality output.
Experience creating Motion Graphics and integrating Graphics into video projects.
Practical knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
Ability to follow brand guidelines, interpret creative briefs, and deliver content on schedule.
Attention to detail, strong visual storytelling capabilities, and a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear communication and reliable time management.
Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial, but equivalent professional experience is also valued.
