HSE mérnök | HSE engineer

As an EHS Specialist at our plant in Hatvan (HtvP), you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally sustainable workplace. You will be responsible for overseeing occupational safety, environmental protection, and the safety of lifting equipment. By collaborating with internal and external partners, you will manage compliance systems and drive continuous safety improvements across our operations.
Your contribution to something big
Manage and maintain the KIR and MEBIR systems, while overseeing occupational safety, environmental protection, and the safety of lifting equipment.
Perform safety engineering reviews, occupational safety and health risk analysis, risk management, and carry out preliminary safety checks on machinery and equipment.
Ensure operational safety by regulating the provision of personal protective equipment, reviewing safety markings, improving transport safety, controlling first aid processes.
Lead accident prevention and investigation, and conduct safety audits of subcontractors and contractors.
Oversee environmental protection operations, focusing on waste management improvement, chemicals licensing, air quality protection, and wastewater treatment control.
Organize, prepare, and actively participate in review audits, visits, and inspections, representing the interests of HtvP, defining post-audit measures, and coordinating their implementation.
Foster internal and external relations, providing technical consultation and advice, and ensuring continuous and compliant data reporting and information sharing.
Apply, develop, and update external and internal standards in your area of expertise, manage related documentation, and drive knowledge transfer and training within the group.
Participate in authorization processes and prepare management decisions (considering professional and economic aspects), taking decisions under your own responsibility (including borderline cases) and leading or participating in task forces (working group/problem-solving/escalation team).
What distinguishes you
Qualification as a Safety Engineer or Safety Technician
Environmental experience or education
English and Hungarian language skills
MS Office knowledge
Readiness to support exceptional situations when required
