Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Jaipur. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, layouts, and mood boards, translating client requirements into practical and visually appealing solutions. Daily responsibilities include space planning, preparing and reviewing construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors. The role involves site visits, measurement and documentation, oversight of design implementation, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. The Interior Designer will also prepare presentations, assist in material and color selection, and support project administration and client communication throughout the design process.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Interior Design and FF&E selection, with the ability to develop cohesive and functional design concepts.
Proficiency in Space Planning, ensuring efficient use of areas while meeting client requirements and building standards.
Understanding of Architecture principles and their application within interior projects.
Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings, including plans, elevations, and details for execution on site.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of materials, finishes, and current interior design trends; prior studio or site experience is an advantage.
