Job Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, and data pipeline development, along with recent hands-on experience in the Mortgage domain.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data solutions for complex mortgage-related datasets in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake and related technologies.
Develop complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
Build and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and modern data engineering practices.
Work with mortgage domain data, including loan origination and/or loan servicing datasets.
Perform data integration, transformation, validation, and quality checks across multiple sources.
Design and implement efficient data models and pipeline architectures in Snowflake.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand complex data requirements.
Support data reporting and analytics requirements by ensuring accurate and reliable datasets.
Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and optimize performance in production environments.
Required Skills & Experience
12+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
Advanced proficiency in SQL.
Strong programming experience with Python.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
Strong understanding of Data Pipeline Architecture and Development.
Experience in Data Transformation, Data Integration, and Data Reporting.
Recent hands-on Mortgage domain experience is mandatory.
Experience with Loan Origination or Loan Servicing data is required.
Strong experience working with complex datasets in a production environment.
Good to Have
Experience with Mortgage Payments and Escrow data.
Understanding of Mortgage Underwriting processes and datasets.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
Knowledge of modern data warehouse and data engineering architecture.
