Role Description The Senior Designer role at LORDS DECOR is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Senior Designer will lead end-to-end design projects, including concept development, space planning, material selection, and preparation of detailed drawings and presentations. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, translating briefs into creative design solutions, coordinating with project managers and vendors, and overseeing implementation to ensure design integrity and quality. The role involves mentoring junior designers, reviewing their work, and ensuring that all design outputs align with brand standards, timelines, and budget guidelines. The Senior Designer will also stay updated on design trends, best practices, and emerging materials to continuously enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in interior and spatial design, including concept development, space planning, and design detailing.
Proficiency with design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar software).
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end design projects, from client brief to final execution and handover.
Ability to present design concepts clearly, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and incorporate feedback effectively.
Experience guiding and reviewing the work of junior designers, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture systems, and vendor coordination relevant to interior and architectural projects.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; substantial industry experience in a senior or lead design role.
