📢 WE ARE HIRING: Research Article Formatting Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Research Article Formatting Specialist. The role involves formatting academic manuscripts and research articles according to different journal requirements, with the support of AI and other relevant tools.
Work Type: Remote
Salary: ₦150,000 per month
Responsibilities
• Format research articles and manuscripts according to journal author guidelines
• Review manuscript structure, headings, tables, figures, references, and in-text citations
• Check documents for formatting inconsistencies and submission requirements
• Use AI tools to assist with manuscript formatting, proofreading, and consistency checks
• Carefully review AI-assisted outputs for accuracy before finalizing documents
• Work with different referencing styles, including Vancouver, AMA, APA, and Harvard
• Ensure assigned manuscripts are completed accurately and within deadlines
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, including Track Changes and document formatting
• Good understanding of academic manuscript and research article formatting
• Ability to read and correctly apply journal submission guidelines
• Familiarity with references and citation formatting
• Good command of written English
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies
• Good research and internet-search skills
• Ability to use AI tools effectively and responsibly
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines
Previous experience in academic editing, journal formatting, scientific publishing, research, or manuscript preparation will be an advantage.
Selected candidates will receive video-based onboarding and training on our manuscript-formatting process and workflow before commencing regular assignments.
