Role Description The Video Editor role at Launch Ecom Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. In this role, the Video Editor will edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for marketing campaigns, product launches, social media, and brand communications. Daily tasks include trimming clips, adding transitions, syncing audio, incorporating motion graphics, and applying color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency. The Video Editor will collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams to translate briefs into engaging video content, maintain brand guidelines, and optimize formats for different platforms. The role also involves organizing media assets, managing project timelines, and suggesting creative improvements to enhance viewer engagement and storytelling.
Qualifications
Strong video production and video editing skills, with experience turning raw footage into compelling, platform-ready content.
Proficiency in video color grading and color correction to ensure consistent and professional visual quality.
Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and basic graphics to enhance storytelling and brand recognition.
Experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar software).
Solid understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and optimization for social media and e-commerce platforms.
Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Chennai.
Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in digital or e-commerce content is a plus.
