Role Description The Video Editor and Motion Graphics Artist role at RitZ Animation is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. In this role, the team member will edit video content for trailers, episodes, promotional materials, and social media, ensuring smooth pacing, strong narrative flow, and high production quality. They will design and animate motion graphics, including titles, visual effects, transitions, and overlays that enhance storytelling and match the anime aesthetic. The role involves close collaboration with directors, animators, sound designers, and writers to interpret creative briefs, align visuals with story objectives, and deliver content on deadline. Daily responsibilities include organizing and managing project files, adapting content for multiple platforms and formats, implementing feedback from stakeholders, and maintaining consistency with brand and project guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong video editing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar), with the ability to cut, sequence, and refine narrative content.
Proficiency in motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Blender, or similar), including designing titles, transitions, and visual effects suitable for anime-style content.
Solid understanding of visual storytelling, composition, pacing, and timing, with the ability to translate scripts and storyboards into compelling edited sequences.
Experience working with sound and music in edits, including basic audio cleanup, syncing dialogue, and collaborating with sound designers or composers.
Ability to manage multiple projects, organize assets, follow structured workflows, and deliver high-quality work against production deadlines.
Familiarity with anime, animation pipelines, and contemporary digital content trends; passion for Indian stories and mythological themes is highly beneficial.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, openness to feedback, and comfort working closely with cross-functional creative teams on-site.
Relevant education or training in film, animation, multimedia, design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in video editing and motion graphics.
