Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly technical Android Lead Developer to drive the development, integration, and architecture of lower-level Android systems. This is not a standard application-level role; it requires deep expertise in system-level programming, framework modification, and hardware abstraction.
Key Responsibilities & Mandatory Skills (Must Have)
Core Language Expertise: Strong, production-level C++ programming experience.
Platform Experience: Strong hands-on experience working directly with AAOS (Android Automotive OS) or AOSP (Android Open Source Project) architectures.
System Integration: In-depth experience in Android Framework development, integration, and custom builds.
Middleware Development: Proven background in designing and developing Android Middleware.
Hardware Abstraction: Practical experience in HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) integration and low-level hardware interactions.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Direct experience working with Android Audio systems and stacks.
Deep conceptual understanding of HAL layer architecture and interactions.
Solid grasp of JNI / Java-to-C++ integration and native binding layers.
