Role Description The AHP Operation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Champa, responsible for overseeing the operation and performance of Ash Handling Plant (AHP) systems and related equipment. The role involves monitoring system parameters, ensuring smooth and safe operations, and identifying issues before they affect plant performance. The engineer will perform routine inspections, coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective actions, and participate in troubleshooting activities to resolve operational problems. Daily tasks include documenting operational data, preparing basic reports, supporting root-cause analysis for recurring issues, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental guidelines. The role also requires effective communication with internal stakeholders, timely response to operational concerns, and support for continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret operational data for performance optimization.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical and process-related issues in plant operations.
Candidates should possess Customer Service and stakeholder management skills to respond effectively to internal queries and operational requests.
Candidates should possess working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments for system monitoring, reporting, and data management.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or related field) is preferred.
Knowledge of power plant or industrial utility operations, especially ash handling or material handling systems, is beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Champa, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills, attention to detail, and readiness to work in shifts as required by plant operations.
