About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with advanced AI-assisted development experience to support the development of the new SaaS ledger platform.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can take business or technical requirements through the complete development lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment and production support.
The successful candidate will be a strong software engineer who uses AI-assisted development tools to work faster and more efficiently. AI should support engineering work, but it must not replace technical understanding, critical thinking or accountability for the final solution.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop and maintain full stack functionality for a SaaS ledger platform.
Build backend services, APIs and integrations using Node.js and TypeScript.
Design and optimize PostgreSQL database structures, queries and data flows.
Contribute to frontend development and integration with backend services.
Take development tasks from initial requirements through implementation, testing, deployment and production support.
Build secure, scalable and maintainable solutions within a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
Work with AWS services and cloud-native architecture.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and infrastructure improvements.
Use AI development tools and coding agents to support code generation, testing, debugging, refactoring and documentation.
Critically review, test and validate AI-generated code before it is introduced into the production codebase.
Identify areas where AI-assisted development and automation can improve delivery speed and engineering efficiency.
Review existing code and development practices and recommend practical improvements.
Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues independently.
Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews and technical planning.
Work closely with developers, product stakeholders and senior leadership.
Core Requirements
Advanced practical expertise in AI-assisted software development, with a proven ability to use AI tools and coding agents as an integral part of the development workflow.
Strong hands-on experience with tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar, including their effective use for solution design, code generation, testing, debugging, refactoring, code review and technical documentation.
Proven experience providing AI tools with appropriate context and instructions, critically review their output, identify errors and security risks, and improve AI-generated code before it is introduced into production.
Strong hands-on software engineering experience at Senior level.
Strong practical experience with Node.js, TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
Experience delivering software functionality from initial design through development, testing, deployment and production support.
Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, security and scalability.
Experience developing SaaS or multi-tenant systems.
Practical experience with AWS and cloud-native development.
Experience with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
Experience with frontend development, preferably using React and TypeScript.
Practical experience using AI development tools or coding agents, such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar.
Proven experience working with existing codebases, making sound technical decisions and resolving complex technical problems independently.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the quality of delivered solutions.
Good written and spoken English.
Based in Europe and able to provide services under a B2B arrangement.
Nice to Have
Experience with Kubernetes, including deployments, orchestration and scaling.
Experience with event-driven or asynchronous architectures.
Experience integrating LLMs or external AI APIs.
Experience in fintech, payments, digital wallets, card issuing or ledger systems.
Understanding of financial transaction processing and ledger principles.
Familiarity with KYC or KYB processes.
Awareness of regulatory and security frameworks relevant to financial services, such as PSD2, DORA or PCI DSS.
Russian language skills would be an advantage for effective communication with relevant team members.
