Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time on-site in Jabalpur, collaborating with the studio team to develop design concepts and deliver complete interior solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, creating mood boards and design presentations, and developing detailed space plans and layouts. The role involves preparing construction drawings and documentation, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), coordinating with vendors and contractors, and overseeing site execution to ensure design intent is maintained. The Interior Designer will also assist in project budgeting, timelines, and quality control, while keeping up-to-date with materials, trends, and best practices in interior design.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client needs into practical, cohesive layouts.
Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to produce and interpret plans, sections, and details.
Experience with FF&E selection, specifications, and coordination with suppliers and contractors.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic knowledge of MS Office.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site and manage multiple projects.
Strong sense of aesthetics, material knowledge, and attention to detail; prior studio or site experience is an advantage.
