Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Gandhidham. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliation, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up to date. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, assisting with tax computations and filings, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting audits and compliance reporting. The role also involves preparing periodical reports for management, monitoring cash flows, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting queries. The Accountant is expected to follow established accounting standards, maintain organized documentation, and support continuous improvements in financial processes.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and basic taxation concepts.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar), MS Excel, and other relevant office tools.
Ability to perform accurate bookkeeping, ledger posting, bank reconciliation, and documentation management.
Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial data for reporting and decision support.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work on-site full time in Gandhidham, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a structured manner.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (CA/CPA or in progress) are an advantage.
Prior experience in an accounting firm or corporate finance department is preferred but motivated entry-level candidates may be considered.
