Role Description As an AI/ML Engineer at Driif.ai, you will design, implement, and optimize machine learning models that power real-time decision-making across multi-domain systems. You will work on developing and training neural networks, building robust pattern recognition pipelines, and experimenting with statistical and algorithmic approaches to improve model performance and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and deployment in production environments, as well as collaborating with product, operations, and engineering teams to translate mission requirements into scalable AI solutions. You will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and iterative improvement of the ML infrastructure. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition for real-world applications
Solid understanding of Statistics and probabilistic modeling for experimentation and model evaluation
Ability to design and implement efficient Algorithms for large-scale, real-time systems
Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in AI/ML (e.g., Python)
Experience with ML frameworks
Comfort working with complex datasets, including data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with real-time systems, robotics, or mission-critical domains is a plus
