Surya Hospitals India is a leading provider of modern healthcare services for women and children. We have a multi-location chain of six hospitals with facilities in Mumbai, Pune, and Jaipur.
Role Summary
The Business Analyst – Hospital / Healthcare is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves analysing hospital operations, clinical workflows, and support functions to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost optimization, and improved patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, map and refine business processes.
• Analyse hospital operations data points.
• Prepare reports and dashboards, conduct data-driven performance for management
• Support budgeting, costing, and financial analysis for departments and service lines.
• Identify process and eliminate bottlenecks by recommending improvements.
• Contribute to strategic projects, such as service-line expansion, capacity planning, quality improvement programs, standardization of processes across hospital, and digital health initiatives.
Requirements
• MBA/PGDM (Healthcare Management, Operations, or Finance preferred); freshers/0–2 yrs experience welcome
• Comfort working with spreadsheets, basic data visualization and reporting tools - SQL/Power BI/Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements.
• Proficiency in business analysis, with experience gathering and documenting business requirements from multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Ability to understand and optimize business processes, including workflow mapping and redesign in hospital or healthcare settings.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with clinical, administrative, and management teams.
Good to Have
• Prior experience in hospital or healthcare operations, healthcare IT systems, or quality improvement initiatives is highly beneficial.
