Content Writer – Hinduism & Vedic Literature

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and research-oriented Content Writer with a strong understanding of Hinduism, Vedic literature, Indian philosophy, mythology, and ancient Indian scriptures.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience writing content on Hinduism, Vedic knowledge, spirituality, Indian culture, mythology, or related subjects. Candidates with a strong academic background or genuine interest in these areas are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
• Research and write high-quality, accurate, and engaging content on:
• Hinduism and Sanatan traditions
• Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas and other Hindu scriptures
• Indian mythology and ancient Indian history
• Vedic philosophy and spiritual practices
• Hindu gods, festivals, rituals and traditions
• Indian culture and philosophical concepts
• Conduct detailed research using authentic and credible sources.
• Convert complex Vedic and philosophical concepts into simple, engaging, reader-friendly content.
• Cross-check facts, references, Sanskrit terms, quotations and historical context.
• Develop articles, blogs, scripts, educational content and other long-form content as required.
• Maintain cultural and religious sensitivity while creating content.
• Collaborate with editors, researchers and other content team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Hinduism, Vedic literature and Indian philosophy.
• Prior experience writing about Hinduism, Vedas, mythology, spirituality or Indian culture is highly preferred.
• Strong research and fact-checking skills.
• Excellent written English and storytelling ability.
• Ability to understand and explain Sanskrit/Vedic concepts accurately.
• Familiarity with authentic Hindu scriptures and traditional sources.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish traditional beliefs, interpretations and historical facts.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Candidates
We especially welcome candidates who:
• Have previously written books, blogs, articles, scripts or research content on Hinduism/Vedic subjects.
• Have a degree or academic background in Indology, Sanskrit, Hindu Studies, Indian Philosophy, History, Religious Studies or related fields.
• Have studied Sanskrit or Vedic literature.
• Have published articles, books, blogs, research papers or other relevant work.
What We’re Looking For
A writer who is not just a general content writer but has genuine knowledge and interest in Hinduism and Vedic traditions, along with the ability to research deeply and present information responsibly and engagingly.
Candidates with relevant writing samples or previously published work on Hinduism, Vedic literature, mythology or spirituality should share their portfolio along with their application.
