Electrical (Plant Engineering) leads the complete design engineering function for various plant types including Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP), coal‑based power plants, nuclear power plants, and SWRO (Seawater Reverse Osmosis) desalination facilities.
In this role he shall ensure that all outputs meet the required standards of technical accuracy, quality, and compliance, while effectively managing engineering resources and supporting multiple project teams.
Candidate will provide leadership during both the proposal/pre‑bid engineering phase and the detailed engineering stage, ensuring technically competitive solutions and rigorous engineering execution. The role requires deep familiarity with IEEE/IEC standards and includes providing continuous technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Electrical Plant System Design
Electrical equipment design and sizing calculation
Technical specification preparation
Technical bid evaluation
Vendor drawing review
Cable engineering
Understanding of layout engineering
IS/IEC / IEEE Standards.
Effective communication and cross-team coordination
Decision‑making under operational constraints
Conflict management
Strong problem‑solving and analytical capability
Good communication skills both oral and written, team player, interdisciplinary co-ordination experience.
Able to work independently.
Experience of interacting with Clients, OEMs, vendors and project management
