Role Description The Software Test Engineer will work on-site in Ghaziabad in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with development and product teams to ensure the quality and reliability of software components for robotic and automation systems. Daily responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, performing functional, regression, and integration testing, and documenting defects with clear, actionable details. The role involves reviewing requirements and technical specifications, contributing to test planning, and validating fixes and new features before release. The Software Test Engineer will also help refine testing processes, maintain test documentation, and support continuous improvement of software quality across projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Testing and Testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
Candidates should possess practical experience in Test Execution and working with structured Test Cases.
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Software Development concepts to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in identifying and documenting defects.
Candidates should possess good communication skills for clear reporting, team collaboration, and requirement clarification.
Relevant experience with test management tools, issue tracking systems, and version control platforms is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Experience in testing embedded systems, robotics, or automation software is an added advantage.
