Junior DevOps Engineer

About the Role
We are expanding our DevOps leadership team and are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in on-prem infrastructure environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in infrastructure automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and high-availability systems, along with the ability to drive DevOps best practices across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage on-prem infrastructure environments
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform / Ansible
Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Ensure high availability, scalability, and system reliability
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
Handle performance tuning and troubleshooting
Work closely with development and security teams
Lead infrastructure strategy and DevOps best practices
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in DevOps / Infrastructure Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with on-prem infrastructure
Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
Strong understanding of networking concepts
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
Good scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, Shell)
Good to Have
Experience in hybrid cloud environments
Knowledge of security best practices
Experience handling large-scale production environments
Team leadership or mentoring experience
