ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (m/f/d)

From high-voltage batteries to vehicle cockpits, complex vehicle components are subject to the most stringent quality requirements. In this field, DSA develops electrical and electronic (E/E) test systems for vehicle production. To design and integrate our systems, we are looking for a dedicated electrical engineer or electrical technician (m/f/d) who will bring a great deal of enthusiasm for our products and our customers’ challenges to exciting system projects and help develop compelling solutions. The position is initially on a one-year fixed-term contract.
Your Tasks
You are responsible for system configuration and for integrating complex test systems into the relevant test equipment.
You support the assembly of control cabinets and test equipment, both mechanically and electrically, in close coordination with Production.
You work closely with Development and customers to implement the systems efficiently and optimise them on an ongoing basis.
In addition, you will prepare projects, plan the necessary resources, monitor stock levels and coordinate the procurement of materials.
You will assist with on-site installations and ensure that the systems are manufactured in accordance with the applicable standards.
Once system installation is complete, you will carry out electrical and functional tests, analyse faults and ensure they are rectified.
Your Profile
You have completed a degree in electrical engineering or a vocational qualification in electrical engineering, supplemented by further training to become a master craftsman or technician (m/f/d), or hold a comparable qualification.
You have some experience with automation systems and programming languages, as well as knowledge of Linux and networks.
You are results-oriented and take a structured and methodical approach to your work.
You are able to quickly grasp complex issues, understand them and confidently apply your knowledge to new situations.
With strong organisational skills and good time management, you work efficiently and accurately even under time pressure and high workloads.
You hold a Class B driving licence.
You are willing to travel and enjoy working at different locations. You will spend around 20 per cent of your working time on site with our clients.
You have a very good command of German and English.
