About Tech Ops at Marshmallow
The Tech Ops team keeps Marshmallow’s corporate technology running smoothly. We support colleagues with their devices, access and the tools they use every day, while improving and automating how that work gets done.
We work with teams across Marshmallow to solve technology problems from first report through to resolution. Alongside recurring operational work, we deliver projects that improve technology deployment, security and the employee experience. The team is always learning from new tools and features, then turning that knowledge into better ways of working.
What you'll be doing
- Owning and resolving first- and second-line technical issues across macOS, Windows, SaaS applications, identity, networking and office technology.
- Owning the technology experience for joiners, movers and leavers, including device deployment, access provisioning and equipment lifecycle management.
- Administering and improving endpoint and identity platforms, including Jamf, Intune, Google Workspace and Okta.
- Owning and improving Budapest office technology, including networks, meeting-room AV, printers and other workplace technology.
- Identifying repetitive or inefficient processes and automating or simplifying them wherever possible.
- Delivering Tech Ops projects independently, from identifying the problem and proposing a solution through to implementation and documentation.
- Maintaining clear documentation and improving self-service, while working with Information Security on secure configurations, access controls and device-management standards.
YOUR EXPERTISE
MUST HAVE
- Proven business IT experience managing Apple devices, alongside a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and networking.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, security and compliance considerations.
- The ability to identify inefficiencies, drive continuous improvements and optimise IT service delivery proactively.
- Experience translating business needs into practical technical solutions.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical teams and building trusted stakeholder relationships.
NICE TO HAVE
You do not need experience with every tool or technology we use. We are happy to support someone with strong technical fundamentals and a willingness to learn.
- Administrative knowledge of Google Workspace and Slack.
- Experience with Jamf or equivalent device management tools, and Okta or equivalent identity and access management tools.
- Experience with Cisco wired and wireless networks or equivalent networking technologies, and with managing and troubleshooting AV equipment.
- Experience using automation to improve IT processes.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, IT audits, IT governance and compliance processes.
