Senior Database Developer (MySQL & PostgreSQL) – 10+ Years Experience
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Developer with 10+ years of expertise
Designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale database systems using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in database architecture
Knowledge in Multitenancy Architecture and Row Level Security (RLS)
performance tuning, query optimization, data modelling, replication, high availability
Cloud-based database solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable database architectures for enterprise applications.
Create and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, views, functions, stored procedures, and triggers.
Optimize complex SQL queries and improve database performance.
Analyse and troubleshoot database bottlenecks and capable of handling production issues within SLA.
Implement database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Design and maintain database replication and high-availability solutions.
Work closely with application development teams to optimize data access patterns.
Perform database migrations and version upgrades.
Monitor database health, capacity planning, and resource utilization.
Develop ETL processes and data integration solutions.
Partitioning, Pruning, Tuning during the production long running jobs.
Writing complex queries to cater to Business reports.
Understanding of semantic layer and Graph databases
Good understanding on structured, unstructured, and semi structured storage.
Entity relationship digrams and Knowledge base maintenance.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with security standards.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
Mentor junior developers and database engineers.
Good understanding of AI, RAG and ML, LLM
