Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Condition Contract Management (CCM) Consultant with Trade Promotion Management (TPM) Integration expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing end-to-end Settlement Management solutions to handle complex rebate agreements, chargebacks, commissions, and trade promotion settlements.
You will play a pivotal role in bridging trade strategy with financial settlement by seamlessly integrating SAP CRM/TPM (or SAP Cloud for Customer / SAP Intelligent Trade Management) with S/4HANA Condition Contract Management (CCM / Settlement Management).
Key Responsibilities
1. CCM & Settlement Management Configuration
Design and configure core Condition Contract Management (CCM) functionality within SAP S/4HANA Settlement Management (formerly SAP Rebate Management).
Configure condition contract types, pricing determination, condition type groups, search strategies, and contract release workflows for both Customer Rebates and Vendor Rebates/Royalty Agreements.
Define business volume selection criteria, field catalogs, calendar settings, and settlement schedules (delta settlement, partial settlement, and final settlement).
Establish accrual determination strategies, accrual posting logic, and reversal procedures tied to sales and purchasing transactions.
2. TPM Integration Architecture
Lead the integration design between Trade Promotion Management (TPM) systems (e.g., SAP CRM TPM, SAP Trade Management / SAP ITM, or 3rd-party TPM tools) and S/4HANA CCM.
Map trade promotion execution elements (e.g., planned trade spend, off-invoice allowances, bill-back rebates, performance-based promotions) to S/4HANA Condition Contracts.
Configure automated contract generation, updates, and status sync triggered by TPM promotion approvals and commitments.
Validate real-time or batch data flows via ALE/IDocs, OData APIs, or SAP CPI between the TPM planning engine and S/4HANA execution platform.
3. OTC, Pricing & Finance Integration
Ensure tight alignment between CCM, Sales & Distribution (SD/OTC) pricing procedures, and Financial Accounting (FI-AP/AR, CO-PA/Margin Analysis).
Configure condition records for real-time invoice discounting (off-invoice) vs. deferred rebate accruals (bill-back).
Manage settlement document processing, credit/debit memo requests, and direct FI posting logic.
4. Functional Design & Custom Enhancements (WRICEF)
Draft comprehensive Functional Specifications (FSDs) for custom enhancement spots, BADIs (e.g., business volume determination BADI), user exits, and custom reporting.
Partner with ABAP and integration developers to debug payload errors, custom pricing routines, and complex business volume calculations.
5. Testing, Data Migration & Go-Live Support
Lead end-to-end integration testing (SIT/UAT) covering the entire flow: TPM Promotion Creation → S/4HANA Condition Contract Generation → Order Execution & Accruals → Settlement Processing.
Direct initial data load and cutover activities for legacy rebate agreements, open accruals, and active condition contracts
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
Experience: 8+ years of SAP SD/OTC implementation experience, with at least 3+ years focused specifically on S/4HANA Condition Contract Management (CCM) and Settlement Management.
TPM-CCM Integration Expertise: Hands-on experience integrating TPM promotional planning with S/4HANA Settlement Management (e.g., automated agreement generation, fund management sync, settlement posting back to TPM).
Deep S/4HANA Pricing & Settlement Knowledge: Master-level understanding of S/4HANA pricing condition techniques, accrual accounting, settlement document types, and delta accrual/settlement logic.
Cross-Functional Integration: Solid understanding of financial postings (FI-AR/AP), profitability analysis (Margin Analysis/CO-PA), and procurement integration (Vendor Rebates).
Debugging & Technical Capabilities: Ability to perform ABAP debugging to trace pricing calculations, BADI executions, and contract creation routines.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Certification in SAP S/4HANA Sales or SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement.
Exposure to SAP Intelligent Trade Management (ITM) or SAP Trade Management on Cloud.
Knowledge of side-by-side extensibility using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for custom rebate portal apps or external TPM middleware connectors.
