Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Business Development Manager – ERP, CRM, IoT, AI & Smart Manufacturing Solutions. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building and managing a robust sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth for digital transformation and automation solutions. The Business Development Manager will engage with prospects and existing clients to understand business challenges, propose suitable ERP, CRM, IoT, AI, and smart manufacturing solutions, and lead end-to-end sales cycles including presentations, solution demonstrations, proposals, and contract negotiations. The role includes collaborating closely with technical and delivery teams to shape solution offerings, prepare customized pitches, and ensure alignment between client needs and implementation capabilities. Daily responsibilities also include market research, competitor analysis, forecasting, reporting on sales performance, and representing the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Business Planning and Strategic Planning skills to identify growth opportunities, define go-to-market strategies, and support long-term account development.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge to interpret business data, assess ROI, build business cases, and support pricing and commercial decisions.
Candidates should possess Budgeting and related financial management skills to plan, monitor, and optimize sales and marketing spends for target achievement.
Relevant experience in B2B sales or business development for ERP, CRM, IoT, AI, or smart manufacturing solutions, ideally within industrial or manufacturing sectors.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers and influence complex buying processes.
Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities, work cross-functionally with technical and delivery teams, and meet or exceed sales targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is
