Role Description This is a full-time, on-site R&D Manager role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The R&D Manager will lead research and development activities for new and existing automotive products, overseeing concept development, prototyping, testing, and iterative improvement. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary R&D team, assigning tasks, mentoring team members, and fostering a collaborative environment focused on technical excellence and timely delivery. The R&D Manager will plan and track projects, coordinate with production, quality, and supply chain teams, and ensure that projects meet performance, cost, and compliance requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating new technologies, analyzing data from experiments and field use, preparing technical documentation and reports, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Research and Development (R&D) and applied research for automotive products.
Proven skills in Team Management and Team Leadership to guide, motivate, and develop R&D staff.
Demonstrated Project Management experience, including planning, scheduling, and delivering engineering projects.
Solid understanding of automotive engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to analyze experimental data, prepare technical reports, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
Experience working on-site in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a focus on safety and compliance.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make data-driven decisions under time constraints.
