Role Description
The Assistant Manager Finance role at Blitz is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. The person in this role will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and monitoring cash flow. Responsibilities include supporting budgeting and forecasting, assisting with monthly and annual closing, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant financial regulations. The Assistant Manager Finance will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support audits, and contribute to process improvements that enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in accounting principles, including experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency with finance and accounting software, spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), and basic data analysis tools.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and internal control best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
