🔍 About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and intellectually curious Data Insights Analyst to help turn our growing volume of operational and business data into actionable insights.
This is not primarily a report-building position. We already have extensive reports, dashboards, and operational data available.
Your role will be to dig into that information, slice the data from different perspectives, identify patterns and opportunities, and provide recommendations that help leadership make better decisions.
The ideal candidate is someone who naturally enjoys working with numbers and solving problems. You may be a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong academic background in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Economics, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
🤖 We are particularly interested in candidates who know how to leverage AI tools alongside traditional analytical methods to investigate data faster and uncover insights that may otherwise be missed.
📌 Key Responsibilities
🗣️ English Proficiency: Strong verbal English skills are required, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional environment.
📈 Analyze existing dashboards, reports, and large datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities.
🔎 Slice and segment data from multiple perspectives to understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what should be done about it.
💡 Translate complex data into clear, practical recommendations for leadership and operational teams.
🧩 Perform root-cause analysis when KPIs or operational results change unexpectedly.
🔗 Identify correlations and relationships between different business metrics.
📊 Compare teams, departments, time periods, processes, and other segments to uncover performance drivers.
🧪 Develop hypotheses from the data and test them using available information.
🤖 Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, explore datasets, identify patterns, and generate potential hypotheses.
✅ Validate AI-generated findings using sound analytical and statistical methods.
⚙️ Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, cost reduction, efficiency, and performance improvement.
📋 Conduct ad hoc analyses based on questions or requests from leadership.
🗣️ Present findings in a concise format that clearly communicates the finding, supporting data, potential cause, business impact, and recommended action.
💭 Continuously look for questions that leadership may not yet be asking but that the available data can answer.
🎯 What We're Looking For
🎓 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or another highly quantitative discipline.
🌱 Recent graduates with strong analytical ability are encouraged to apply.
📑 Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
📐 Strong understanding of statistics, quantitative analysis, and analytical problem-solving.
💻 Ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful patterns.
🧠 Strong critical-thinking skills and willingness to challenge assumptions.
📚 Comfortable learning new reporting platforms and analytical tools.
🤖 Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms for data analysis and problem-solving.
📝 Ability to explain complicated findings in simple business language.
🇬🇧 Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
🚀 Self-driven and comfortable investigating problems with limited direction.
⭐ Preferred Skills
Experience with some of the following is beneficial but not required:
SQL
Python or R
Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
Statistical modeling

📈 What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is not measured by how many reports you create.
It is measured by the insights you uncover and the decisions those insights help improve.
For example, rather than simply reporting that a KPI decreased by 8%, we expect you to investigate:
🔎 Where did the decrease come from?
👥 Which teams, customers, products, time periods, or processes contributed to it?
📅 What changed compared with previous periods?
🧠 What does the data suggest is causing it?
🎯 What action should the business consider taking?
We are looking for someone who sees a dashboard as the starting point of an investigation—not the final product.

"What else can I learn from this?"
You enjoy finding patterns, testing theories, digging deeper into unusual results, and using data to explain how a business actually operates.
We will provide access to extensive existing reporting and business data. Your job is to turn that information into intelligence.
