Job Description – Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) / Junior Design Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) / Junior Design Engineers to join our Engineering Design team. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in CAD design, product development, sheet metal design, trim design, and reverse engineering are encouraged to apply.
The selected candidates will receive hands-on training and work on real-time engineering projects using industry-standard software such as CATIA, Siemens NX, and Creo.
Key Responsibilities
· Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA, NX, and Creo.
· Support product design, sheet metal, plastic, and trim development projects.
· Assist in reverse engineering activities using 3D scan data and point cloud data.
· Participate in concept development, design reviews, and engineering documentation.
· Prepare engineering drawings, BOMs, and design reports.
· Perform basic design validation and quality checks.
· Coordinate with senior engineers and project teams to complete assigned tasks.
· Learn and follow engineering standards, GD&T practices, and customer requirements.
· Support prototype development and product improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
· Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.
· Basic knowledge of CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
· Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
· Willingness to learn and work on challenging engineering projects.
Preferred Skills
· Knowledge of sheet metal, plastic components, or product design.
· Exposure to CAD software through academic projects or internships.
· Basic understanding of GD&T.
· Interest in reverse engineering, 3D scanning, and product development.
