Role Description The Cyber Security Intern role at TechForze is a full-time, on-site position based in Samastipur. The intern will assist in monitoring systems and networks for security vulnerabilities, supporting the identification and mitigation of risks across applications and infrastructure. Daily tasks include reviewing security alerts, helping to conduct basic security assessments, documenting findings, and supporting incident response activities under the guidance of senior team members. The role also involves contributing to security documentation, learning and applying best practices in cybersecurity, and collaborating with developers and operations teams to improve overall security posture.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Cybersecurity and Cyber fundamentals, including awareness of common threats and security best practices.
Candidates should possess skills in Network Security, including understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network configurations.
Candidates should possess skills in Application Security, such as familiarity with secure coding principles and common application vulnerabilities.
Candidates should possess skills in Information Security, including basic knowledge of data protection, access control, and security policies.
Additional beneficial qualifications include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Pursuing or having completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
