Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Claim Handler role based in Bengaluru. The Claim Handler will manage end-to-end insurance claims, including registration, documentation review, verification of policy coverage, and coordination with assessors and other stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include assessing claim validity, gathering and analyzing information from customers and partners, updating claim status in internal systems, and ensuring accurate and timely claim processing. The role requires regular communication with policyholders, insurers, and internal teams to clarify details, resolve issues, and support fair settlement decisions in line with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The Claim Handler will also contribute to process improvements, maintain detailed records, and support reporting and compliance activities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Claims Handling and Insurance Claims skills, with experience managing complete claim lifecycles.
Candidates should possess Claims Management and Insurance knowledge, including policy terms, coverage interpretation, and basic regulatory understanding.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
Candidates should possess attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in using claims or insurance-related software.
Relevant experience in general insurance or claims processing is preferred; a graduate degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field is beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple cases, meet timelines, and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
