Role Description The Mechanical Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Visakhapatnam. This role involves supervising mechanical maintenance activities, coordinating daily work schedules, and ensuring that technicians follow standard procedures and safety guidelines. The Mechanical Supervisor will oversee inspections of mechanical systems and equipment, identify issues, and organize corrective and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime. Responsibilities include monitoring maintenance records, communicating with operations staff about equipment status, and supporting continuous improvement in reliability and performance. The role requires active presence on the shop floor, guiding the maintenance team, resolving technical problems, and reporting progress to management.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance planning to ensure reliable equipment operation.
Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance Management and Maintenance execution, including scheduling, documentation, and resource utilization.
Candidates should possess practical Inspection skills to assess mechanical equipment condition and identify faults accurately.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Experience in industrial or plant maintenance environments will be an advantage.
Knowledge of safety standards, mechanical systems, and basic troubleshooting techniques is beneficial.
Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and work on-site in Kota on a full-time basis.
