About the Organisations
We are recruiting on behalf of two partner organisations:
A prestigious medical training platform that prepares doctors from around the world for foreign postgraduate medical examinations.
A Health Management Organisation (HMO) that provides healthcare services to its members.
The Role
We are looking for an exceptional doctor to do two things: practise medicine and teach it.
On the clinical side, you will see the HMO's patients every day via telemedicine and support its clinical arm with medical advice and oversight. On the education side, you will tutor doctors preparing for foreign postgraduate examinations (e.g., MRCP, MRCS, MRCOG, MRCPCH, PLAB, USMLE).
You will also take on real leadership responsibility: running meetings, coordinating people, and solving problems across both organisations. You will be trained to find, apply for, and write grants and proposals, a skill that will set you apart for the rest of your career.
What You'll Do
Clinical (Health Management Organisation)
See and consult with HMO patients daily via telemedicine: taking histories, assessing, advising, prescribing where appropriate, and referring when needed
Provide medical advice and clinical input to the HMO's operations and clinical team
Help strengthen the HMO's clinical processes, including protocols, patient-care standards, and quality improvement
Keep accurate and confidential patient records
Education (Medical Training Platform)
Teach and tutor doctors preparing for foreign postgraduate medical examinations, through one-to-one and group sessions
Track learner progress and adapt teaching to each candidate's needs
Leadership & Development
Lead and facilitate meetings, keeping them organised and focused on outcomes
Manage and coordinate people, including staff, tutors, and learners
Identify and solve clinical, academic, and operational problems proactively
Research grant opportunities and help write grant applications and proposals, with training provided
Travel for occasional in-person assignments (about 15% of the role), with transport and accommodation provided
Who We're Looking For
A medical graduate (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years' post-graduation experience
Full, current registration with your national medical council, in good standing
Solid clinical experience and confidence in independent patient consultations
A strong academic record, such as distinctions, prizes, top exam scores, or publications
Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Demonstrated leadership and people-management experience
A natural problem-solver who is calm, resourceful, and takes initiative
Verifiable good character (see Character Verification below)
Desirable
Having passed a foreign postgraduate exam, or parts of one (e.g., MRCP Part 1, MRCS Part A)
Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience
Telemedicine or HMO experience
Any experience with research, proposals, or grant writing
Terms
Remuneration: USD 250 per month
Contract: 12-month initial contract, reviewed every three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent
Work mode: 85% remote. Transport and accommodation are covered for any required travel
Start date: Immediately
