Role Description The Laboratory Technician role at CYNGIENT LLC is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the development, testing, and quality control of inks, coatings, and adhesives. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating laboratory equipment, preparing chemical solutions, conducting standard tests, and recording accurate data and observations. The Laboratory Technician will assist in quality control procedures, verify product specifications, and help troubleshoot any issues identified during testing. This role collaborates closely with technical, production, and quality teams to ensure products meet performance, safety, and environmental standards while maintaining organized lab documentation and adhering to all regulatory and company safety guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong laboratory skills with experience in handling chemicals, preparing test samples, and following standardized lab procedures (Laboratory Skills, Laboratory Technicians).
Proficiency in using and maintaining laboratory equipment, including calibration, basic troubleshooting, and safe operation (Laboratory Equipment).
Experience in quality control processes, including inspection, testing, documentation, and compliance with internal and external standards (Quality Control).
Well-developed analytical skills for interpreting test results, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions (Analytical Skills).
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
Working knowledge of safety protocols and environmental best practices in a chemical or materials laboratory setting.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting results and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Associate degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Materials Science, or a related field; relevant laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
