Lead Data Operations Analyst (F/H)

Do you enjoy solving complex data problems, challenging existing processes, and turning ideas into scalable solutions? Join our Digital Purchases team and work with e-commerce transactional data across more than 40 countries.
This is a hands-on role combining data analytics, SQL, data quality, data operations, automation, AI, and strategic project ownership. You will investigate challenging problems, identify opportunities for improvement, experiment with new technologies, and lead initiatives that make our operations more reliable, efficient, and scalable.
What You’ll Do
Investigate complex data quality and operational issues and identify root causes.
Analyze large datasets using SQL and BI tools and build validation, monitoring, and analytical solutions.
Identify and lead data, automation, and process-improvement initiatives from idea to measurable impact.
Explore AI/GenAI and automation for practical operational and analytical use cases.
Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Tooling, Product, and client-facing teams.
Remain hands-on with Digital Purchases data operations and contribute to the evolution of our technologies and workflows.
Share your expertise and support other analysts on complex analytical and technical topics.
What We’re Looking For
3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Operations, Data Quality, Business Intelligence, or a related data-focused field.
Strong SQL and analytical problem-solving skills.
Experience with BI tools.
Ability to independently take an ambiguous problem, structure it, investigate it, and turn it into a practical solution.
A data-driven mindset, strong communication skills, and professional fluency in English and French.
Curiosity, autonomy, creativity, proactivity, and a genuine appetite for technology.
Nice to Have
Programming & automation: Python is a strong plus. Familiarity with Java or scripting and automation is welcome.
Data engineering: Exposure to ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, dbt, or Apache Airflow.
Cloud & data platforms: Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or Google BigQuery.
Data formats & processing: Experience working with JSON, HTML/XML, RegEx, or other semi-structured data.
Data quality: Interest or experience in data validation, monitoring, and data quality automation.
AI & emerging technologies: Curiosity about AI/GenAI and how it can support data and operational workflows.
Domain & ways of working: Exposure to e-commerce data or Agile environments is an advantage.

What we offer :
50 000 to 60 000 euros gross per year. Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency. Remuneration decisions are made using gender-neutral and objective criteria.
