Equipment Engineering Technicians (Multiple Openings)
Locations: Utah, Texas and California
Shifts: Days and nights, front-end and back-end, compressed work weeks available
We are hiring Equipment Engineering Technicians on behalf of several leading global foundries in the US.
These are not single vacancies. There are openings across multiple modules, multiple levels and multiple shifts, so if the exact fit isn't obvious, apply anyway and we will point you at the right one.

What you'll be doing
Preventative maintenance, corrective repair and consumable changes on production tools
Troubleshooting non-functioning tools using procedures, schematics, blueprints and vendor documentation
Dismantling, adjusting, repairing and rebuilding assemblies and sub-assemblies
Using test and diagnostic equipment to verify systems and find root cause
Working with Equipment Engineers, Process Engineers and Area Managers to resolve issues affecting production
Taking part in shift pass-down and setting priorities against production demand
Improving and documenting maintenance procedures, and recommending equipment improvements
Making sure parts are ordered and chased so downtime stays low
What we are looking for
Associate of Science in Electronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, a related field, or equivalent military experience
1 to 5+ years of technical experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment, depending on the level of the role
Hands-on background across electrical, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic systems
Working knowledge of vacuum systems, robotics, sensors, electro-mechanical devices and AC/DC fundamentals
Comfortable working shifts, including nights and compressed schedules
Basic PC skills, MS Office, and the ability to work with data to assess tool performance
Tool experience that stands out (not all required)

CMP: AMAT Mirra 3400, Mirra-Trak, Mirra Mesa, Lam Ontrak Series IICE, Lam Ontrak Synergy, Strasbaugh 6DSP-SP, Air Liquide BCDS
CVD: AMAT Centura, Novellus, TEL
Dry Etch and Diffusion: equivalent 200mm platform experience
