Role Overview
The Deploy Automation Engineer will support the setup, maintenance, and ongoing development of continuous build and integration infrastructure. This position will focus on CI/CD automation, Linux operations, deployment scripting, and troubleshooting throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Support the setup, maintenance, and enhancement of continuous build and integration infrastructure.
Create and maintain automated CI build processes across multiple Linux environments.
Develop and update build and deployment scripts.
Support CI/CD tool integration, operations, maintenance, and change management activities.
Assist with automation of CI and testing processes.
Support the development and implementation of CI/CD policies, standards, guidelines, and governance.
Assist with onboarding and supporting developers in source control, build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, and deployment processes.
Support the movement of code from Development and Test through Staging and Production.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered throughout the CI/CD pipeline.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
CMS experience is preferred.
Required Technical Skills
1+ year of experience with Red Hat Ansible
1+ year of experience with Jenkins
1+ year of experience with Linux Operations
Additional Requirements
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, multitasking, and time-management skills.
Must be eligible to obtain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
Must have established residency in the United States for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
