Compensation: $USD 500 – USD$2500/month base + performance bonus + equity (stock options)

The Opportunity
We’re looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented Accounting Associate. This isn’t a typical entry-level role — you’ll work directly with small business clients, manage full books, support tax filings, and grow into a controller/CFO-like role. Over time, you’ll own client relationships and provide financial insights that drive real impact.
What You’ll Do
Bookkeeping & Close: Reconcile accounts, categorize transactions, and prepare monthly financials.
Tax Preparation: Assist with tax filings and learn to review, prepare, and interpret returns (training provided).
Client Management: Serve as a trusted point of contact, providing updates and ensuring client satisfaction.
Financial Insights: Support reports, budgets, and forecasts to help clients make informed decisions.
AI Tools: Use and provide feedback on our AI-powered accounting platform to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Career Growth: Progress into controller/CFO-level responsibilities, advising clients on strategy and performance.
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent bookkeeping/tax experience.
Interest in learning accounting and tax practices; CPA/EA or equivalent track is a plus but not required.
Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with clients.
Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and proactive approach.
