Shift Hours:
Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The position also requires:
One late evening per week, either Monday or Tuesday.
The second Saturday of each month, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (4 hours).
Applicants must be able to consistently meet these scheduling requirements.

Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to patients. Under the supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you¿ll perform administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every individual who walks through our doors.

What You Will Do
Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers as needed.
Perform administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the practice.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate patient care.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Additional Requirements:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum). OR
Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years. OR
Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical medical assisting. OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). OR
Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years. OR
Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
