Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Full Stack Engineer. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain web applications across both front-end and back-end layers. You will implement user interfaces, build and integrate APIs, manage data flow, and ensure application performance and reliability. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, testable code, reviewing code from peers, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with the founder and the sales and onboarding team to deliver new features. You will work closely with the sales team, turning what they hear from customers into product improvements and supporting them during customer onboarding. You will also participate in technical discussions, contribute to architectural decisions, and help improve development workflows and standards. Compensation is a monthly contractor rate set competitively for your region and experience, and the role requires at least four hours of daily overlap with US Eastern time.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, including experience building and maintaining production web applications.
Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, such as working with server-side frameworks, APIs, and databases.
Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, accessible interfaces.
Candidates should possess skills in debugging, testing, and optimizing code for performance, security, and scalability.
Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time independently, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, or CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred but not required.
