Role Description The CLUSTER MANAGER – DARK STORE OPERATIONS, AHMEDABAD is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple dark stores in Ahmedabad. This role includes managing store performance, supervising store teams, and ensuring consistent adherence to operational standards and processes.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced operations professional who can manage multiple locations, lead frontline teams and consistently drive speed, productivity, inventory accuracy, SLA adherence and operational excellence while keeping an eye on the cost & shrinkage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own end-to-end operational performance across all dark stores in scope
Drive order fulfilment speed, productivity and SLA adherence
Manage inventory accuracy, replenishment, cycle counts and stock availability
Control shrinkage, damages, wastage and operational losses
Plan manpower, rostering and deployment across stores
Lead, coach and develop Store Managers, Team Leaders and frontline teams
Coordinate with last-mile/delivery operations for smooth order handover
Monitor daily operational KPIs and take corrective action on performance gaps
Ensure SOP, safety, hygiene and process compliance
Drive operational cost efficiency and productivity
Conduct regular store reviews, audits and performance improvement initiatives
Work closely with Amazon/Zepto operating stakeholders and internal franchisee teams
Identify recurring operational issues and implement scalable solutions across the cluster
Provide regular performance updates and MIS to the CEO, Jyosa Inc
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
4–8 years of experience in Quick Commerce operations
Experience managing multiple stores / locations preferred
Good understanding of dark-store / fulfilment operations
Strong experience in manpower planning and frontline team management
Strong analytical, problem-solving and execution skills
Strong analytical skills, proficiency in using operational dashboards or reporting tools, and comfortable with data-driven decisions.
Comfortable working with Excel, MIS and key operational dashboards
Proven people management experience, including coaching, performance management, and fostering a safe, inclusive work environment.
High ownership and accountability
Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, handle fast-paced environments, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Ahmedabad experience / local market & language knowledge preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; relevant experience in quick commerce dark store operations is highly beneficial.
WORKING SCHEDULE
⏰ 1 weekly day off
📌 Due to the nature of the Quick Commerce industry, weekly offs/leaves will not be scheduled on
weekends and public holidays.
The role requires flexibility to support business operations during peak periods and high-demand days.
COMPENSATION
💰 ₹45,000 – ₹60,000 per month
