Locuta is an AI-powered communication practice platform helping people improve speaking and communication skills through realistic practice and AI feedback. The product covers Public Speaking, Storytelling, Casual Conversation, Pitch, Workplace Communication, and Creator Speaking, with 300+ planned lessons.
Role
Own the early user-growth loop: finding potential users, talking to them, getting them to try Locuta, understanding their experience, and finding repeatable ways to grow.
What You’ll Work On
Community outreach across Reddit, Discord, Threads, X, LinkedIn and relevant communities
User conversations, outreach and onboarding
User research, interviews and feedback collection
Growth experiments, referrals, ambassadors, affiliates and partnerships
Track acquisition, activation, engagement and retention patterns
Turn user feedback into product and growth insights
Support launches, campaigns and other growth initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication and genuine curiosity about people
Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable experimenting
Can engage communities without sounding spammy
Can work independently and turn conversations into insights
Willing to get hands-on with outreach, research, content, and experiments
Experience in growth, community, sales, marketing, content, user research, or startups is useful
This Role Is Not For
Someone who only wants to create social posts or wait for a predefined marketing strategy.
Compensation
Locuta is currently at a very early, pre-seed stage. The initial 3 months will be equity-based rather than fixed-salary. The equity will be meaningful and discussed based on the candidate’s experience, responsibility, and contribution. Monetary compensation will be introduced after the next funding/growth milestone.
