Role Description The Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for overseeing daily production activities on the shop floor. This role includes supervising production teams, monitoring operations, and ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. The Production Supervisor will coordinate production planning, allocate resources, and manage shift activities to achieve output targets and minimize downtime. The role involves maintaining safety and compliance, resolving operational issues, and collaborating with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to support smooth production workflows. The Production Supervisor will also coach team members, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide regular reports on production performance and key metrics.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance management, and hands-on guidance on the shop floor.
Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and Production Schedules, with the ability to organize workloads, manage shifts, and align resources to meet targets.
Candidates should possess Production Management skills, including monitoring output, maintaining quality standards, and driving efficiency and process improvements.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, report production status, and provide clear instructions to staff.
Relevant experience in manufacturing or automotive/commercial vehicles production, with knowledge of safety standards and lean or continuous improvement practices.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work in shift-based operations, use basic production reporting tools, and adapt to a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
