Role Description The Product Development Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Karur. This role supports the end-to-end product development process, including coordinating design inputs, preparing specifications, and assisting with sample creation for home textiles, home furnishings, and garment accessories. The Product Development Assistant works closely with internal teams to track product lifecycle stages, collect feedback, and update documentation as products move from concept to production. Day-to-day tasks include conducting basic market research, analyzing product performance, organizing product data, and communicating clearly with production, sourcing, and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of development activities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Product Development and Product Lifecycle Management to support products from concept through launch.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities to interpret data, track trends, and inform development decisions.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document product information clearly.
Relevant experience in textiles, home furnishings, or garment accessories is beneficial.
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in textiles, fashion, product design, or a related field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, documentation tools), and the ability to work on-site in Karur are required.
