Serve as Senior SAP Basis Consultant supporting large, complex, business-critical SAP environments.
Responsible for SAP Basis architecture, administration, lifecycle management, and operational support across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid landscapes.
Design scalable, secure, and highly available SAP infrastructure and help set technical standards and roadmaps.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior and mid-level Basis administrators and promote operational best practices.
Hands-on administration of SAP systems (S/4HANA, NetWeaver, HANA, Oracle) including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
Conduct system health checks, capacity planning, workload analysis, and performance tuning across all SAP layers.
Develop and maintain backup, restore, high-availability, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex (P1/P2) SAP incidents and perform root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
Manage SAP lifecycle activities such as S/4HANA conversions, database migrations, system refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, and patching.
Collaborate closely with infrastructure, networking, firewall, database, development, cloud, and operations teams.
Coordinate with vendors and internal/external operations teams for SAP system administration and support.
Maintain secure SAP configurations, support patching, vulnerability remediation, audit readiness, and compliance.
Ensure accurate technical documentation, procedures, support records, and knowledge sharing.
Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support schedule.
Requires 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a senior SAP Basis/SAP HANA support role and strong hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA/ECC, HANA, and NetWeaver.
Must be highly technical, self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work across multiple technical domains in a complex enterprise environment.
