Engineering Manager

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and manage IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and experience in handling large-scale IT systems, managing Government projects would be a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the engineering team in designing, developing, and deploying IT solutions for government projects.
Ensure alignment with security protocols and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and roadmaps.
Oversee software development, infrastructure management, and system integrations.
Drive innovation, implement best practices, and optimize processes for efficiency and scalability.
Manage budgets, timelines, and ensure optimal utilization of resources to ensure successful project execution.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for skill development
Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance project outcomes
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Architectural Design and implement software architectures, ensuring scalability,performance, and security.
Troubleshoot technical issues, identify and implement solutions, and ensure systems meet requirement. Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and optimization strategies
Key Skills & Requirements:
8+ years of experience in software development.
Strong expertise in enterprise IT solutions, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and system architecture.
Familiarity with procurement processes, government IT policies, and compliance standards (preferably)
Proficiency in technologies such as Java, Python, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills
Skills: Java architecture, Springboot, Microservices architecture, Azure/GCP, Kafka/Rabbit MQ, Code review, DSA
