Role Description The AR Calling role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The individual in this role will be responsible for making outbound calls to insurance companies and other payers to follow up on outstanding claims, resolve denials, and ensure timely payments. Day-to-day tasks include verifying claim status, documenting call outcomes, updating billing systems, and coordinating with internal teams to address discrepancies or missing information. The role also involves tracking aging reports, escalating complex issues when needed, and adhering to compliance and privacy guidelines. The AR Caller is expected to meet productivity targets, maintain high-quality communication, and contribute to overall revenue cycle efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally over the phone.
Basic knowledge of accounts receivable, medical billing, or healthcare revenue cycle processes, or willingness to learn these areas.
Proficiency in using computer systems, spreadsheets, and billing or CRM software for documentation and status tracking.
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and comfort working with numerical data and reports.
Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage time effectively, and meet performance and quality targets.
Relevant education such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in AR calling, customer service, or call center environments is an advantage but not mandatory.
