Role Description The Engineering Trainee will support the design, development, and testing of AI-driven solutions under the guidance of senior engineers. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with coding and integration tasks, documenting technical requirements, analyzing data, and helping troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems. The trainee will participate in team meetings, contribute to technical discussions, and learn best practices in software engineering and AI implementation. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Jhargram, United Kingdom, where some work from home is acceptable depending on project needs and team coordination.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge in software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures.
Basic proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in AI or software development (e.g., Python, Java, or C++).
Understanding of AI, machine learning concepts, or data analysis techniques, with interest in applying them to business problems.
Ability to read and create technical documentation, reports, and clear project notes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in hybrid teams across office and remote environments.
Organized and detail-oriented approach, with willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Interest or prior exposure to AI solutions, automation, or digital transformation projects is an advantage.
