Role Description
We are seeking a Blockchain Fund Strategy Specialist to support investment strategy, fund research, portfolio analysis, and strategic opportunities across the blockchain and digital-asset ecosystem. This role will focus on evaluating blockchain projects, digital assets, crypto funds, venture opportunities, and emerging market themes while developing structured investment and portfolio frameworks.
The specialist will work at the intersection of blockchain investment banking, venture capital, digital assets, token economics, and capital markets, helping identify opportunities and translate complex market and project data into actionable investment intelligence.
Responsibilities
• Research blockchain companies, digital assets, crypto funds, protocols, and Web3 investment opportunities
• Develop strategic frameworks for blockchain-focused funds and digital-asset portfolios
• Evaluate blockchain projects based on technology, tokenomics, market positioning, business models, adoption, and growth potential
• Analyze portfolio construction, asset allocation, diversification, liquidity, volatility, and risk exposure
• Conduct due diligence on blockchain startups, protocols, tokens, and investment opportunities
• Monitor Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems, stablecoins, tokenization, and blockchain infrastructure
• Track venture funding, capital flows, institutional participation, strategic partnerships, and market developments
• Analyze token economics and their potential impact on project sustainability, valuation, and investment strategy
• Support fundraising analysis and strategic capital-raising initiatives for blockchain projects
• Research TGE structures, token launches, exchange-listing considerations, and digital-asset market dynamics
• Prepare investment memos, fund strategy reports, portfolio reviews, market intelligence briefs, and presentations
• Identify emerging blockchain sectors and investment themes relevant to fund and portfolio strategies
• Build research databases, financial models, market dashboards, and portfolio analytics
• Collaborate with investment banking, investment, research, advisory, and blockchain ecosystem teams
• Support strategic analysis of potential partnerships between blockchain projects, funds, VCs, exchanges, and infrastructure providers
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, investment research, asset management, cryptocurrency, blockchain, or financial markets
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and digital-asset markets
• Knowledge of fund strategy, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment research
• Familiarity with tokenomics, DeFi, stablecoins, L1/L2 ecosystems, blockchain infrastructure, and crypto markets
• Understanding of fundraising, venture investment, capital markets, or transaction advisory is strongly preferred
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial research capabilities
• Ability to evaluate blockchain projects from both investment and technology perspectives
• Experience with financial modeling, Excel, market-data platforms, or blockchain analytics tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to produce concise investment research and strategic recommendations
• Ability to work independently in a remote, international environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• CFA, CAIA, blockchain, Web3, or related qualifications are a plus

Compensation
$125,000–$150,000 per year, depending on experience, investment expertise, blockchain knowledge, and fund strategy capabilities.
