We’re currently looking for an experienced Quarry Driller to join the Crusher Plant team at a well-established building materials company in the Caribbean.

The role:
You’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling equipment used in quarrying operations, ensuring safe and efficient drilling of blast holes in line with approved drilling plans and site procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating quarry drilling equipment safely and efficiently.
Drilling blast holes according to approved patterns, depths, angles, and specifications.
Conducting daily equipment inspections and identifying mechanical or safety issues.
Performing routine operator maintenance, including lubrication, cleaning, and basic adjustments.
Monitoring drilling performance and ensuring holes meet the required specifications.
Recording drilling activities, equipment issues, and drilling information.
Following blasting plans and instructions from authorized blasting personnel.
Monitoring ground conditions and reporting hazards or unsafe working conditions.
This is a practical, outdoor role suited to someone who is mechanically minded, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently in a demanding quarry environment.
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 5 years’ experience operating drilling equipment, preferably in a quarry, mining, construction, or related environment.
Knowledge of drilling equipment, basic mechanical systems, and drilling procedures.
Ability to follow drilling plans, instructions, and site procedures.
Experience working safely around heavy machinery, mobile equipment, and blasting operations.
Valid driver's license.
Applicable equipment/operator certification, where required.
Good mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
Physically capable of working in a demanding outdoor environment.
